Dr. Francis specializes in adult and pediatric interventional radiology. He is the section chief of Pediatric Interventional Radiology at Johns Hopkins All Children's and is an assistant professor of Radiology in the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine. He joined the Johns Hopkins All Children’s medical staff in 2018.
His clinical expertise includes performing a wide range of image guided minimally invasive procedures such as treatment of congenital vascular malformations, tumor ablation, venous thrombolysis for deep vein thrombosis (DVT), management of dialysis graft dysfunction, biopsy/drainage procedures, urinary and GI tract access procedures, nerve and facet blocks, and pediatric trauma patients.
He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology. He was previously a radiologist with Radiology Associates of St. Petersburg.
Dr. Francis earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his internship in medicine, surgery and diagnostic radiology, a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in vascular interventional radiology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.
His interests include treatment of vascular malformations. He speaks Arabic, English and Spanish.
