Dr. Cassani specializes in pediatric nephrology for the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Department of Pediatric Medicine. He is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Cassani earned his medical degree from Luis Razetti School of Medicine in Venezuela. He trained as a pediatric resident in the Texas A&M University System Health Science and completed a fellowship in pediatric nephrology through the Emory-Children's Center Division of Pediatric Nephrology in Atlanta, Georgia.

She is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include caring for children with advanced chronic kidney disease, including those who are dialysis dependent. Her primary research interests relate to quality initiatives in pediatric nephrology including implementation of a stewardship program on nephrotoxic drugs.
