Johns Hopkins All Children’s First Female President Celebrates One Year at Hospital

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital’s president, Alicia Schulhof, M.H.A., F.A.C.H.E., just marked one-year at the #1 children’s hospital on Florida’s West Coast. Schulhof, who has four children of her own, arrived at Johns Hopkins All Children’s at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic affected everything from patient volumes, to finances and staffing challenges. In the past year, she’s gained valuable insight into the patient experience and staff’s work, rounding the hospital at all hours and even spending the night to better understand operations.

Schulhof joins Johns Hopkins All Children’s from Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, where she has served as president for the past year. Before her service at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital, Schulhof spent more than 17 years leading complex health care organizations, including Indiana University Health and HCA Healthcare.

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital’s Critical Care Transport Team expanded this month, now allowing the hospital’s helicopter service, in affiliation with Med-Trans Corp., to respond directly to medical and trauma accident scenes.
